What causes this problem?

Many health problems stem from subluxations of the spine (improper motion and position of the vertebrae). This happens because the nerves from the spinal cord that pass through the spine control and regulate every function that your body performs. Subluxations can irritate the nerves impeding their proper function.
“OK, but what causes these subluxations in the first place?” you might ask…Subluxations are caused by stress on your body. This stress can take many forms. Traumatic falls, postural stress, repetitive movements, poor nutrition, alcohol abuse, smoking and emotional stress are common stresses on the body that can contribute to subluxations. The stress causes a chain of physiologic events that results in the vertebrae losing their proper motion and position.
