What makes the sound from an adjustment?

Some people are frightened by the sound of an adjustment but few people understand what the sound really is. Lubricating fluids separate the bones of a spinal joint. Some adjusting methods cause a shift in the gas and fluids of the joint when a small movement occurs between the joint surfaces. The “pop” sound is simply the result of this shift.
